Latin Chamber of Commerce, NV Joins RALI Nevada

The Latin Chamber of Commerce, NV has joined as a partner of the Rx Abuse Leadership Initiative (RALI) of Nevada. RALI Nevada brings together community leaders and organizations, health care stakeholders and business representatives. The organization is working together to address opioid addiction and misuse and ensure communities have access to effective resources in that effort.

The Latin Chamber of Commerce, NV of is the premier advocate for the Hispanic business, cultural, and educational community in Nevada. For more than 25 years the Chamber has played a constructive role in the Las Vegas community and the social fabric of Southern Nevada through positive business, cultural and educational relationships.

Peter Guzman, President of the Chamber commented, “Opioid misuse, addiction, and overdoes have affected every community in our state. Ending that cycle will require everyone working together. We’re proud to join with other local and state leaders to develop effective, lasting solutions that will save lives in our great state.”

The Latin Chamber announced the partnership during its annual Veteran’s Luncheon. The Chamber joins more than 25 state and national partners of RALI Nevada working together to end the state’s opioid crisis. Other partners are:

La Cámara de Comercio Latina, NV se asoció con Rx Abuse Leadership Initiative (RALI) de Nevada. La organización trabaja en conjunto para abordar el uso indebido y la adicción a los opioides, y para garantizar que las comunidades tengan acceso a recursos eficaces en pos de dicho objetivo.

La Cámara de Comercio Latina, NV es la principal defensora de la comunidad hispana comercial, cultural y educativa en Nevada. Durante más de 25 años, la Cámara ha desempeñado un rol constructivo en la comunidad de Las Vegas y en la estructura social del sur de Nevada mediante relaciones comerciales, culturales y educativas positivas.

Peter Guzman, presidente de la Junta de Directores de la Cámara, indicó: “El uso indebido de opioides, su adicción y sobredosis han afectado a todas las comunidades de nuestro estado. Terminar con ese ciclo requerirá un esfuerzo conjunto.
