RALI Nevada and one of our newest partners, Valley Health System, have teamed up to offer safe drug disposal information events at five VHS hospitals this Saturday, Oct. 27, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
From VHS, visitors can receive a free drug disposal pouch, and information about other ways to safely dispose of unused prescription medicines, including at-home disposal tips. Safely disposing of unused medicines can help make sure loved ones don’t misuse them, and that can help prevent addiction.
Please note, the five locations are only distributing the pouches and information, they are NOT able to take-back drugs at those locations. To find a National Prescription Drug Take Back Day location in the Las Vegas area, visit our blog post, or takebackday.dea.gov.
